Web Analytics
I use a plugin called Koko Analytics to monitor web analytics. I chose this plugin because it is privacy-friendly and collects the bare minimum of data about visitors. Koko Analytics uses a single cookie (lifetime of 6 hours), used to detect unique pageviews and returning visitors without storing any personal information. The plugin does not use any external or third-party services, and no visitor specific data is collected.
Contact Forms
If you use one of the contact forms on the website, any information you provide will be stored within the contact form plugin for a maximum of 30 days and will be sent to my private gmail account. I have IP and geolocation retention turned off for this plugin. Any information supplied via the contact forms will not be shared with or sold to any third-parties; it is only used for professional contact in the way outlined in the contact form.
You can request to have your personal information deleted at any time using the Contact page.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
